"[This book] documents the urban hedonism of young men in coastal towns of New Zealand. Focus on our shared love for the ocean, I photographed men of all backgrounds. Following the intimate photography style presented in my first book, ‘Come Back to Bed’, some of the images are staged to look suggestive, referencing the hyper-sexual stigma that gay men tend to be labelled with. The title is a sentence I have said internally to myself every time I leave the ocean. Ultimately this book is a love letter to the ‘classic Kiwi summer’ many New Zealanders have experienced."
